IT Asset Portfolio AnalysisIT asset portfolio analysis of current IT holdings with recommendations on upgrades, refresh timing, vendor directions, and emerging alternatives. These files contain information relevant for technology refresh planning. They are mostly SAS evaluations of individual client IT asset portfolios (submitted to SAS under NDA), but also include slides of relevant future issues. They are not comprehensive, since they only deal with subsets of IT asset portfolios of individual clients, but the analysis is often transferable to other vendors' products. Please note that these assessments and comparisons only apply to the date they were performed/written. Vendors are constantly refreshing products, features, and competitive offerings and this means conclusions reached in these documents might be reversed/invalidated quickly thereafter. The principles used in analysis, however, might prove to be of value in other assessments. View/Download by clicking on the title.
Configuration ReviewsThese files contain information relevant for technology financing, sourcing, and architecture planning. These are mostly SAS evaluations of particular technology configurations (submitted to SAS under NDA), but also include slides of general customer interest. They are not comprehensive, since they only deal with the configuration in a specific context, but the issues raised in the write-ups might be important to note in similar situations.
